Open Enrollment – Important Reminders

  • Regis University’s 2021/2022 plan year Benefits Open Enrollment period begins Tuesday, March 30, and ends Monday, April 12, 2021.
  • Open Enrollment is the annual period in which benefit-eligible employees can make additions, changes or deletions to their benefit elections.
  • All changes made during open enrollment are effective May 1, 2021, which is the beginning of the new benefits plan year.
  • Detailed information about plan changes, rate increases, open enrollment webinar presentations, and instructions for making changes will be provided to you via email later this week.


Active Enrollment – Requires Enrollment

  • Open enrollment for health and welfare benefits will be “active” for our Dental Plan, which means you must select or waive your Dental plan. Flexible Spending Accounts require enrollment (see below).
  • If you do not select a Dental plan, you will not have dental benefits for the 2021/2022 plan year.


Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) – Requires Enrollment

  • These include Healthcare Flexible Spending, Healthcare Limited Flexible Spending, dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts.
  • If you want to continue or start an FSA account for the new plan year or enroll for the first time, you must actively enroll.
