Two Carroll Hall entrances will be closed Wednesday, Thursday

Tomorrow, Wednesday and for a partial day on Thursday this week, a crane will be placed on the north and west side, near the center of Carroll Hall. The crane will be used to stock new shingles and to help collect and remove old roof shingles above the Hopkins Garden and Plaza.

As a result of this crane use, two-building entrances will be closed except for accessibility and emergency egress needs on the above listed days. The two entrances that will be closed are the middle, north-facing, the main entrance to the building and the middle, rear building entrance that opens directly onto the Hopkins Garden. Inside and outside the closed doors will be posted signs and red danger tape. The two building entrances that will remain open for normal use are the south and west-facing entrances.

We appreciate your patience while this important maintenance work continues.
