Enhance Campus Safety

The University is continuing with the enhanced campus lock down procedures. As we enter the fall semester there will be four additional buildings with strictly designated entrances. These four buildings are joining Loyola and Claver Halls which were done in the Spring of 2024. Please remember that while exterior access into the building is limited to the designated entrances, individuals can egress from any door. Doors can never be blocked open.

Each locked entrance is marked with a physical map and QR code indicating the designated entrance(s). Follow the Map and or QR code to find the right entrance.

We have completed the upgrade to Loyola Hall with an automatic lockdown process during an active emergency for lock down. This means our Campus Safety department can lockdown the facility with a push of a button. Once emergency response is completed the system can be reset. Understand if you need to egress from the building during this emergency process you can. Any doors blocked or propped open will go into an audio alarm until unblocked.

  • Loyola Hall; designated entry is on the west side of the building at the ADA entrance.
  • Claver Hall; designated entrances are at the Mountain View, Pharmacy, and Southwest entrance.
  • LDC; Designated entry is the south main entrance.
  • Science; designated entry is at the north entrance to the facility.
  • Carroll Hall; designated entry is the west side of the facility.
  • Student Center, designated entrances are south side and east ADA door of the facility.

Thank you for your understanding and patience during this change.
