Stories from Wartime Returns!

Stories from Wartime is back for its 30th season on campus! This year, we are focusing on the Vietnam War, marking the 50th anniversary of its conclusion in 2025. The series will feature guest speakers and lectures, providing attendees with thought-provoking insights, personal narratives and expert analysis of the war’s enduring impact. Join us as we explore this pivotal chapter in history and foster meaningful conversations about its legacy.

Stories from Wartime is a unique undergraduate course open to the public, that delves into the human dimensions of war. As participants—both students and the broader community—engage with these narratives, they explore what it means to bear individual and collective witness to warfare. It is a space where veterans and civilians can share their experiences openly. Doing so fosters rich dialogue, empathy and understanding about the complexities and nuances of war experience.
