Exhibit & Reception in the Fireside Gallery - Operation Babylift: New Perspectives

Archives & Digital Collections (ADC) is excited to announce our February exhibition in the library and series of related events. We have been collaborating with several community partners and the Center for the Study of War Experience (CSWE) to present Operation Babylift: New Perspectives. The exhibition marks the beginning of an archival project led by Devaki Murch, a Vietnamese adoptee and survivor of the tragic plane crash in April 1975 that occurred during Operation Babylift - the mass airlift evacuation of Vietnamese children from Vietnam to the United States and other Western countries to their adopted families.

CSWE is presenting their groundbreaking course, “Stories from Wartime,” this Spring Semester at Regis. This unique course is open to the public and fosters space where veterans and civilians can share their experiences openly. Three of this semester’s “Stories from Wartime” classes are devoted to Operation Babylift and related subjects.

Below is a list of events and dates for easy viewing with links to find more detailed descriptions of the exhibit and events. Please feel free to reach out to the Archives and Digital Collections team with any questions: archives@regis.edu
